New York State of Mind

Sarò ripetitiva, sarò banale ma io questa città non smetterò mai di amarla abbastanza!! Possono passare mesi, anni ma ogni volta che torno sembra come non l'avessi mai lasciata. Tutto cambia dai negozi, ai club alla moda, alle persone, ma quell'atmosfera che ti riempie dentro come una scarica elettrica, quella no, quella rimane sempre la stessa..

Ed è così che il 25 Luglio io e la mia inseparabile compagna di viaggio Francy siamo sbarcate al JFK per una breve tappa di 5 giorni nella city prima della nostra avventura alla volta della California. È inutile dirlo sono stati 5 giorni a dir poco fantastici e assolutamente imprevedibili insieme ai nostri amici newyorkesi. Perchè imprevedibili? Perchè in una città come New York tra una passeggiata in Central Park e una caffè da Starbucks può succedere qualsiasi cosa, come per esempio trovarsi nel bel mezzo di un set cinematografico e finirci per fare la comparsa!!
Forse aveva proprio ragione la nostra cara Alicia..

I'll be repetitive, I'll be trivial, but I will never stop to loving this city enough! It may pass months, years, but every time I go back, it seems like I had never left. Everything changes, from shops, hip clubs, to people, but the atmosphere that fills you up inside, like an electric shock, that not, that is always the same ..

On July 25th, me and my inseparable traveling companion Francy, we landed at JFK for a short leg of 5 days in the city, before our adventure  in California. Needless to say, they were five days fantastic and absolutely unpredictable, together with our new yorker's friends. Why unpredictable? Because in a city like New York between a walk in Central Park and a  Starbucks's coffee , everything can happen, for example we happened in the middle of a movie set, and we finished to make the appearance!!

Perhaps Alicia was right..
